Robotic Knee Replacement
MAKO Robotic assisted Knee Replacement Surgery is now performed by Dr Kosta Calligeros and Dr Theo Partsalis at Principle Orthopaedics.
Robotic assisted surgery allows our surgeons to make a surgery plan from 3D computer generated CT scanning. This ensures a high level of accuracy and allows more accurate positioning and also allows the surgeon to optimise the implant placement.
This reduces the chance of re-admission significantly by about 36.3% in the first 30 days **
